Cancellation & Refund Policy
Last updated: 15 October 2026
How cancellations work
To cancel a confirmed booking, please inform us in writing by email or WhatsApp. The cancellation date is the date we receive your written request.
Cancellation charges
Most trips are made up of services from hotels, airlines, houseboats, transport operators and activity providers, each with its own cancellation rules. Your cancellation charges are therefore based on these supplier terms, which are summarised in your quote and booking confirmation before you pay.
As a general guide, cancelling earlier usually means lower charges, and cancellations close to the travel date — or during peak periods such as Christmas–New Year, Diwali and school holidays — may be non-refundable.
Non-refundable items
Some items are non-refundable once booked, such as certain flight fares, peak-season hotel rates, permits and visa fees. These are clearly marked in your quote.
Refunds
Refunds, where applicable, are processed to the original payment method after deducting supplier charges. We aim to process refunds as soon as we receive the funds back from suppliers, and will keep you updated throughout.
Changes instead of cancelling
If your dates change, it is often possible to move a booking rather than cancel it. Speak to us first — we will check the options with suppliers.
